Images to PDF — one file, under 300KB

“Upload your documents as a single PDF under 300KB” is where many applications stall: phone photos of certificates are megabytes each, and 300KB is a tight cap for a set of them. This page is the FormFit PDF builder with the limit already set to 300KB — add your document photos in order, and it assembles one PDF and shrinks it step by step until it fits.

Images to PDF — 300KB limit pre-set

Turn photos of your documents (CNIC, degrees, certificates) into one PDF that stays under the portal's limit — 300KB, 500KB, 1MB…

Tip: if the PDF is still too big, we automatically lower photo quality step by step until it fits — document text stays readable because we shrink size before quality.

Why portals want one PDF under 300KB

A single PDF keeps one candidate's documents together, in order, in a format every office computer can open. A 300KB cap is the strict version of the storage maths behind it: multiplied across hundreds of thousands of applications, anything heavier becomes a real cost. Your side of the bargain has three parts — several document photos become one PDF, the pages stay in a sensible order, the file lands under the cap — and the text must still be readable by the officer who opens it. This page is built around exactly that job, at the tighter number.

How to build the PDF, step by step

  1. Photograph each document flat and straight-on, in good, even light — one document per photo. Glare on a laminated CNIC and angled “perspective” shots are the two biggest readability killers, and a 300KB budget forgives them least.
  2. Add the photos to the box above, in the order the portal expects — CNIC first, then degrees and certificates is typical, but follow your form's checklist. The order you add them is the page order.
  3. The limit is already set to 300KB and the page size to A4. Press Make my PDF.
  4. The tool assembles the pages and shrinks step by step until the file fits the limit — dimensions come down before quality does, which protects small text.
  5. Download and open the PDF once to check every page is present, upright and legible before you submit it.

How the shrinking works

The builder works down a ladder: first it tries your photos at generous dimensions and high quality; if the PDF is still over the limit, dimensions step down, then quality steps down, testing each combination until one fits. Because dimensions shrink before quality, printed text — the thing that actually matters on a degree or a CNIC — survives noticeably better than with a blunt one-shot compression. You always receive the sharpest version the cap allows, and the result line tells you the final size it achieved. If even the last step cannot fit your set, the tool says so honestly and still offers the smallest version it reached.

A4, Letter, or “fit to photo”?

A4 — the pre-set — presents every page as a standard document page, which is what officers expect and what prints cleanly. Fit to photo makes each page the photo's own size: sometimes a little smaller as a file, but the odd page sizes can look untidy and print unpredictably. Letter is the US paper size — choose it only if a form explicitly asks for it.

If your form actually allows 500KB

Check the number in your form's instructions once more: if the cap is 500KB rather than 300KB, use the 500KB PDF page — the same builder with the higher limit pre-set, which keeps noticeably more detail per page. And if it is a single photo, not documents, that must fit a limit, the compressor pages handle that directly: 20KB, 30KB, 50KB and 100KB are all pre-set.

Frequently asked questions

How many document photos fit in 300KB?
Typically 3–5 phone photos of documents, depending on their detail. The tool adjusts automatically, and the result line tells you the final size it achieved. If your set is larger, splitting it across the portal's separate upload slots — where they exist — keeps each page clearer.
Will the text on my degree stay readable at 300KB?
Yes, if the original photos are sharp, straight and well-lit. The tool shrinks dimensions before it lowers quality specifically to protect small text. With a tighter cap than 500KB there is less margin, so open the finished PDF and zoom in once before you submit.
What page order should I use?
The order you add photos is the page order. Follow your form's checklist order — commonly CNIC first, then academic documents, then experience certificates.
My PDF is still above 300KB. What now?
The tool reports the smallest size it could reach. Split the documents into two PDFs if the portal has separate upload slots — many do, one per document type — or re-photograph at your camera's lower resolution setting and rebuild. If your form actually allows 500KB, the 500KB page keeps noticeably more detail instead.
Is it safe to put my CNIC and degrees through an online tool?
FormFit is not an upload tool: the PDF is built entirely in your browser on your device. Your files are never sent to a server — load the page, go offline, and it still works. Need the reverse job instead? The homepage also turns a PDF into an editable Word file.
